Questcon is a division of Howard Systems International. They provide Software Testing focused assessments, process improvement & training, outsourcing and resource supplementation for all testing activity.

I've been affiliated with Software Test & Performance magazine & the conference since 2005. I've written several article series for them and I've also been fortunate enough to be a regular presenter / instructor at the conferences (both Spring & Fall).

STP is part of Redwood Collaborative Media & STP Collaborative.

In 2009 they've asked me to join their Strategic Advisory Board as a founding member. This is quite an honor and I'm looking forward to helping them create a thriving community for testers--particularly in the agile community.

Erik Hemdal, the principal there, is a colleague that is probably one of the best "tactical" testing managers and engineers I've ever worked with. He has recently focused more on teaching and hands-on software development, but retains keen interest and abilities in the Software Testing, Quality Assurance, Metrics and Quality Methodologies areas.

Is an online consortium of various training and consulting vendors. It has a very searchable database to fine tune your criteria and locate vendors focused towards your needs.

EstimatorPal from www.chemuturi.com Chemuturi Consultants has designed an estimation support tool for a wide variety of software size, cost and schedule estimates. I use the product in my classes and it provides a platform for taking the manual effort out of software project estimation.

I recommend taking a look at the product. Factoring cost vs. functionality, there are no better alternatives.

MATRIX Resources is one of the largest IT staffing and services firms in the U.S. As part of their service to clients, they offer quarterly workshops focused on relevant topics of interest to IT managers and leaders. I'm pleased to be part of their presenter pool and also an attendee. Matrix is a "top notch" firm in character, commitment and driving results.

VACO Technology is a well respected IT staffing and consulting firm. I've recently established a collaborative relationship with them in building a local to RTP, NC Agile Consulting & Coaching Practice. It's early on and we'll see how it develops...
